Some exciting vegan events are happening in Dallas right now, and it’s so great to be part of a scene that is constantly looking for new ways to evolve and expand!
Today we’re going to spotlight an event for tomorrow night put on by The Harvest Hands. The local vegan company run by Courtney Garza and Zak Shelton, coordinates amazing culinary events like the current Plant Forward Series, where they partner with talented Dallas chefs and hot restaurants to produce a pure plant based experience! Each one I’ve been to has been a delicious treat, since here in Dallas we have little in the way of fine dining choices. I’m happy to support these dinners because I believe they are a breakthrough here in Dallas, and will surely help facilitate the change to more plant centered menus in the future. It’s great for the chefs involved, too, because they get to show off their true skills. Here in Dallas, vegetables are still too often seen as a side dish only, but if you can find a chef that can wow you by turning them into a beautiful center piece, you know you’ve found someone truly brilliant in their craft.
I was lucky enough to try some of the things that will be on the menu tomorrow night, and I was so delighted by the bright flavors and fresh textures. I won’t give too much away, yet, though! If you’re looking for something different for tomorrow, look no further! Tickets can be purchased here until tomorrow! Each course comes with a hand crafted cocktail, and the menu below sounds divine! If you cannot make it to this one, please follow @theharvesthandstx on Instagram to keep up with what they have coming up next!
