Hello, world! Welcome to KindGourmet.com! This blog has taken me a few months to get just right as far as the look goes, and I am so proud to be finally unveiling this project of mine out in public. What do you think? Not bad for someone who hasn’t done blogging or web design in years, eh? I hope not, anyway! If you see any kinks, let a vegan sister know!
So, just what can you expect from this blog? What do I mean by start up journal? What’s so different about this blog than any other vegan blog you might visit?
First and foremost, you must know that this is not a recipe blog, even though I will probably share the occasional recipe! This blog is where I will share my unyielding love for cruelty-free food, and my journey to make this particular passion my business. You see, in a few years I hope to have my own vegan gourmet food shop, and I’m going to share everything I learn about making that dream a reality here, so that I can help inspire others who might also want to start a vegan business, to go for their dreams. I will be sharing my trials and tribulations, my favorite resources and books, valuable lessons learned and I will also be getting the scoop on other types of vegan business by interviewing business owners about their own story of how they made their ideas come into being. This blog will be centered around vegan food business, as I believe delicious vegan food is one of the best forms of activism today. Read more about myself, how I became vegan, and how I came up with this idea on my ‘About’ page here!
In between all the business talk, you can expect much more! Product and cookbook reviews, new vegan food and business features, how-to articles, and giveaways are just some of the yummy things I have planned for you all. Oh, yeah and recipes. Sometimes. 😉
Have a look around! As you can see, I already have a few posts up and running. Since this is a brand new shiny blog, I am extremely open to feedback, suggestions and recommendations at the moment. I love people interaction, so please, let me know what’s on your mind. I would love to hear your thoughts!
